DJI Zenmuse P1 SP Combo (Free DJI Enterprise Shield Basic Include)

The Zenmuse P1 puts a 45 MP full frame sensor with a global mechanical shutter on a three axis gimbal, so every photo carries the detail you need for orthomosaics, 3D models and survey deliverables. It is built for the Matrice 300 RTK, 350 RTK and 400 and supplied with the DJI DL 35mm lens.

DJI rates the absolute accuracy at 3 cm horizontal and 5 cm vertical, and lists it as achievable without ground control points. That figure is measured under set conditions: a mapping mission at a 3 cm GSD, flying at 15 m/s with 75% front and 55% side overlap. Your results will depend on your site, your overlap and how you process the data.

The P1 saves GNSS raw observation data and an image log alongside each photo, which supports post processed positioning.

A minimum photo interval of 0.7 seconds lets the aircraft fly quickly and still keep the overlap you set. DJI states up to 3 square kilometres can be covered in a single flight, under its own test conditions, so real coverage depends on your flight height, speed and battery.

Smart Oblique Capture and TimeSync 2.0, which synchronises timing at the microsecond level, are built into the workflow. Plan the mission on the DJI remote controller, then process the images in your photogrammetry software.

The P1 supports three DJI DL lenses. Wider lenses cover more ground per photo and longer lenses give finer detail from higher up.
