At East Coast Drones (ECD), our mission is simple: to help our clients work smarter by integrating technology that lightens the load and boosts productivity.
Our journey began in 2017 on a regenerative agricultural property in Central Queensland. Initially, we used drones to move large mobs of cattle across rugged country. With countless flying hours and plenty of experimentation, we discovered what our first drone, the DJI Mavic Pro, could really do.
From checking tanks and water troughs to navigating challenging mountain terrain, our drone quickly became an essential part of daily operations. What started as a practical solution for stock work soon evolved into a much bigger vision.
Today, we operate advanced agricultural drones capable of planting crops and pastures, as well as spraying weeds with precision. We also use the X Mission drone to map paddocks in stunning detail, producing accurate 2D and 3D maps. Paired with a multispectral camera, it reads plant health too, giving land managers the data to act on.
Through it all, our commitment remains the same: to get the job done with minimal impact on the environment and landscape.
