East Coast Drones (“ECD”, “we”, “us”, “our”), ABN 23 299 231 068, is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We use your information to: process orders and payments; deliver, schedule, and invoice services; respond to enquiries; maintain records for warranty, insurance, and CASA compliance purposes; and, where you have given consent, for marketing (see clause 6).
Who owns the maps, photos, and video produced by a service job is addressed commercially in our Terms & Conditions, clause 7.1. This Privacy Policy instead covers how we handle any personal information that imagery or flight data may incidentally contain — for example, if a person, vehicle, or identifiable neighbouring property appears in captured footage.

We will only use imagery from a service job in our marketing (website, social media, portfolio) where you have given us prior written consent. We ask for that consent at the time of booking or quoting.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will remove the imagery from material we control within 14 days, though we cannot recall copies already shared or reposted by others.
Your information is stored using reputable third-party platforms (CRM, hosting, cloud storage) with technical and organisational safeguards including access controls and unique logins, encryption in transit, restriction of captured imagery and flight data to staff who need it for the job, and regular backups. We retain records as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal/tax obligations (including ATO record-keeping requirements).
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw your consent to marketing use of your data or imagery at any time by contacting us.
