DJI AL1 Spotlight for Matrice 4 Series

The DJI AL1 Spotlight adds directed lighting for inspection and search support. Its gimbal-following movement keeps the illuminated area aligned with the camera, and a wide field-of-view mode lights a broader area. Choose always-on illumination or strobe operation to suit the task.

DJI specifies illumination at distances up to 100 metres under its test conditions. Actual visibility depends on the subject and surroundings. The spotlight and compatible speaker can be used independently or together.

• Tighten the screws when installing the spotlight and make sure the interface is properly sealed. For long-term use or with DJI Dock, retighten with the included hex key.
• Remove the adapter bracket at the bottom when installing on Matrice 4D Series drones.
• Connect to the internet after installation to activate the spotlight as instructed, and apply any firmware update promptly.
• With the spotlight installed, left and right obstacle avoidance on Matrice 4 Series drones is reduced and upward obstacle avoidance on Matrice 4D Series drones is disabled. Power performance is also affected. Ensure flight safety.
• Obstacle avoidance deactivates automatically when the spotlight is turned on. Ensure flight safety.
• Do not point the spotlight directly at anyone’s eyes.
• The spotlight can become hot after prolonged operation. Take care to avoid burns.

Illuminance was measured in a laboratory with the spotlight installed on its own on the aircraft at an ambient temperature of 25 C. Figures are based on a distance of 100 metres from the subject and are for reference only.
