Change the working system and keep the aircraft. The T55 carries a 50 L spray tank, an 80 L spreader that handles up to 55 kg, or a lift system rated to 40 kg.
Two centrifugal nozzles come standard and four can be fitted for higher flow. Droplet size covers 50 to 500 microns and the effective swath runs from 4 to 11 m, so the same aircraft can handle a fine orchard mist or a heavier paddock pass.
The DS80L spreading system uses a centrifugal disc and works with material from 0.5 to 10 mm, depending on the auger fitted. Effective spread width is 3 to 10 m.
The T55 weighs 45 kg with the 20,000 mAh battery fitted and folds down to 1120 by 896 by 934 mm. DJI has added transport handles so one person can carry it, and describes it as sized to fit in a compact ute.
A new millimetre wave radar builds a point cloud of up to 250,000 points a second. DJI says it keeps working in rain and fog, and that it records obstacles so later routes can steer around them. Three upper cameras and a low light FPV camera add vision.
The 7 inch, 1920 by 1200 screen reaches 1400 nits so it stays readable in full sun, and the controller runs for 3.8 hours on its internal battery. D-RTK 3 AG positioning brings hover accuracy to 10 cm with RTK enabled.

DJI announced the T55 globally on 1 July 2026 and says availability varies by country. We do not have a confirmed Australian date yet, and none are in stock. Pre-order now and we will contact you as soon as we do.

Yes. The spray tank, the DS80L spreader and the DL100 lift system are separate working systems that fit the same T55 airframe, so you can change the job without changing the aircraft.
DJI lists two options: the 20,000 mAh DB1050 and the 30,000 mAh DB1580. Both charge from 30% to 95% in 8 to 9 minutes with the matching DJI charger or inverter generator.
